The BC-1092 is a Best Quality Handmade Damascus Steel knife that is Rock Solid, Thick and Strong, designed to last forever with perfect edges. The handle is made of a combination of Buffalo Horn, Colored Bone, and Walnut wood, fixed with stunning little silver pins. The Twisted pattern Damascus steel blade of this knife is made from 1095/15N20 ALLOY STEELS (176 true Layers), hand-forged to a Beautiful Pattern. The Damascus steel of this knife has high-quality contents that provide an excellent edge and sharp cutting abilities. The Hardness of the blade is HRC 58-60, and it has been hand-sharpened to a Sharp Edge.

The process of creating our Damascus Steel is as follows: The Damascus is a mixture of 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon, which are heated up together and then folded over and over to achieve the desired layers, in this case, 396 layers. The blade is then burned in acid, which turns the nickel satin color and the high carbon blackish gray, exposing the layers of the new steel created, known as "Damascus". All our Damascus is real and not just an acid etch.

After we make our knives, we high polish the handles and put an edge on the blade. The high polishing buffs off the acid-burned layer of the handle, and the blade edge is sharpened, with the acid-burned edge becoming satin. You can re-burn the tang of the blade near the handles and the edge of the blade, and it will show the layers once more.
